                            BAR PROMOTION IDEAS
Screw Party
Every guy gets a bolt with their first drink. Every girl gets a screw with their first drink. There are only 2-3 matching bolts and screws. If the matches find each other they receive dinner for 2.

Auction Bucks
Pick a date (maybe 2nd Tuesday of every month) That you auction off vendor giveaways etc..The only way for the items being auctioned off to be paid for is with Auction Bucks from your Bar and Restaurant. Customers have to come in throughout the week and collect these auction bucks when they order certain menu items.

Sink the bottle cap
 Pick one or a group of bottled beer. When a customer orders that bottled beer they have a chance to get the bottle cap into a bucket the bartender puts on a shelf behind the bar. If they get it in they get the bottled beer at half price

Olive in one
Have customers throw an olive into a martini glass some distance away. If they make it they get a prize. This is a bar promotion you can easily get your liquor vendors to sponsor

Clown Bar
Have customers guess all day and night how many people can fit behind the bar. They drop slips of paper with their names and their guess into a hat. At midnight lock up the registers and cover the liquor bottles. See how many people you can cram behind the bar. The first slip out of the hat with the correct number of people that fit behind the bar wins

Shortest Skirt
Have a contest for the shortest skirt in the bar. Winner receives a prize

Killer Karaoke
Have a contest to pick the worst singer in the house. Winner gets a prize and a plaque with their picture to hang over the bar

Couples Musical Chairs
Men sit in the chairs and the women circle around. When the music stops the women have to sit in any available man's lap.

Rolling Lemon
Men put a frozen lemon inside one pant leg at the ankle. The woman has to move it up his leg and out the other pant leg. Women's hands allowed men's are not

Pick up lines
Participants are given stickers. All night men and woman exchange pick up lines. If you think the pick up line would be one that would work you put a sticker on that person. The 1 man and 1 woman in the bar that have the most stickers at the end of the night receive dinner for two

Industry Night
Discounts if they are in the bar and restaurant business, but now with a twist-- Battle of the Bartenders. Pick 2-3 bartender skills to have contest around. Have local bartenders sign up. Have elimination rounds over a 4-6 week period. Narrow it down to the best local bartender. Everyone in the industry that comes to watch gets their Industry Night discounts and then some.

Apartment Night
Invite the whole Complex of a nearby Apartment. Use flyers at leasing office and mailboxes (get permission first) Anyone presenting a utility bill with that address gets Buy 1 Get 1 Free (Appetizer, Dinner, or drink) every week on the same night.
