GIN DRINK RECIPES

Gin is a grain spirit flavored with juniper berries. The most common style of gin , typically used for mixed drinks, is London Dry Gin. This dry gin is made by taking a neutral grain spirit and re-distilling after the botanicals are added. In addition to juniper, it is usually made with amounts of citrus botanicals like lemon and bitter orange peel. The U.S is the largest Dry Gin Market. Other style gins include Plymouth Gin, Old Tom Gin, and Genever Dutch-style Gin.
Gin was first distilled in ancient Greece and by the 11th century was distilled by Italian Monks. The word gin derives from the French word for juniper.
